Founded in August 2003, Radio Controlled Motorcycles Club of California (RCMCC)
is one of the few R/C clubs that participate in the exciting field of R/C motorcycle racing. In fact, it is currently the
only known R/C Bike club that exists in the United States! With roots in the highly successful Radio Controlled Motorcycle
Association (RCMA) formed in the 1990’s, several founding members of that organization combined with newcomers to create
a club based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
During the spring and summer seasons the club meets at
various locations in the Bay Area, including San Jose, Antioch, Union
City, and San Mateo. Formal races have been held at Delta
R/C Raceway in Antioch, CA. In addition to our local meets, RCMCC was also responsible for helping to organize the First
Annual R/C Motorcycle World Championships, held in Las Vegas, NV as well as the
2nd Annual race in Hollywood, CA. This year’s race drew over 20 R/C bike competitors visiting
from over three different countries, video coverage from the Outdoor Channel's "Inside R/C" and race coverage from R/C
Driver, R/C Car Action, and Xtreme R/C Car magazines.
