After a very
rainy January, we met up on the 30th at the same old location. A bit of distractions from the local volleyball
team (apparently they had a game going on at the school), but more or less we had the whole grounds to run.
In attendance
were: Dave, Sam, Ken, Andy, Mike, Ian, and Mark. Dave took out his K-bike (barely used since the Delta races) to do some very
nice and controlled wheelies, while Sam was taming his very fast brushless Kyosho “Repsol” NSR on the open grounds.
Ken took the time to run his newly built 1/8th scale sidecar that is based on many of the R/C sidecars raced competitively
in the UK.
Andy, with Pat’s brakes and a new brushless motor installed on his 1/5th Duc, was tearing up the road along
side Mike and Ian who decided to give their Novak powered TT’s a taste of the familiar track layout. Mark also showed
up late afternoon to reveal his newly acquired 1:1 6-speed NSR50 race bike (!!) and Novak brushless motor for his 1/5th
Duc.
