On August 6-7, Sam, Ken, Ray, Dave, Ian, Kevin, and Andy from the club traveled to Hollywood, CA for the Second
Annual National Championship R/C Motorcycle Race. RCMCC had a lot more involvement than last year's race, including: planning
of the location, date, rules, and the organization of the sponsors, race schedule, and hotel rooms. We brought 2 tents for
shade, tables for our pit area, and several of our race and prototype display bikes, which got the attention of many visitors
such as the representatives from Kyosho America, Brazimoto, and Nuova Faor. In the races, we naturally had a strong showing
in the 1/8th electric class, as well as entries in the 1/5th electric and nitro classes by Ian and Kevin. Great job by everyone
in organizing the event.
